Jackie Robinson. Jack Roosevelt Robinson was Inducted to the Hall of Fame in 1962. His primary team were the Brooklyn Dodgers and his primary position was the 2nd Baseman.
“A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives,” Jackie Robinson once said.
The impact Robinson made on Major League Baseball is one that will be forever remembered. On April 15 each season, every team in the majors celebrates Jackie Robinson Day in honor of when he truly broke the color barrier in baseball, becoming the first African-American player in the 20th century to take the field in the big leagues. He opened the door for many others and will forever be appreciated for his contribution to the game. (taken from)
This Lithograph is category A-. It still may have tiny irritations (the beauty of original vintage), wich can be seen on the high res. pop-up image of the product. The poster is a little crumbed with a tiny cut on the top edges. It is in very good shape even it has the minus in the grading A. We do not do any kind of restoration to our original vintage products. It took a long time (over twenty years) for them to become vintage. Any form of restoration like linen backing should be decided by the new owner.
