Gerd Mueller. Gerd Müller is one of the greatest soccer players ever. “The bomber of the nation”, as he was called in Germany at the peak of his fame. Winning the world Cup in 1974 for the German team, surrounded by Beckenbauer, Sepp Maier, Uli Hoeneß and, very well known world champions of Football. In his career he was playing for world known Teams like FC Bayern and TSV Nördlingen, Fort Lauderdale Strikers, Smith Brothers Lounge. He still holds a record of 365 goals during his career.

At the end of his career as a soccer player Gerd Müller opened a well known Steak House franchise that did not end in great success. In Great Britain a tragic but true saying is “let’s get Muellered”, when a brit is going out to get really drunk …. After years of heavy alcohol abuse the FC Bayern took him home, cleansed him and he became coach for the 2nd team of Fc Bayern for many years. Today Gerd Müller is suffering under severe dementia and is currently housed in a nursing home.
